Staying in Portinscale, Keswick

Portinscale is a delightful place for a Lake District holiday. The village is close to Derwentwater (great for gentle lakeside walks and boating) and a short walk to Keswick, the centre of the beautiful Northern part of the Lake District. Easy to get onto some good Lake District walks – while enjoying the peace and charm of a Lakeland village – with some great cafes and pub minutes away.

Wherever you look there are great views, Portinscale is a lovely spot for enjoying all the Lakes have to offer. Walks, views, cycling, canoeing, cream-teas and good ales. And wild swimming!
